RPM North Sponsored Redline Time Attack EVO X

One of our very enthusiastic customers recently purchased a brand new Mitsubishi Evolution X.  Since he is family man and this car is his primary vehicle, he opted not to modify it too much. As a weekend track racer, we supplied him with a GoPro onborad video camera, which we stock and sell in our online store,  to record his Redline Time Attack event at NJMP Lighting track. Here is the weekend warrior EVO X that took 1st place in the AWD Enthusiast class .

Here’s the video using the GoPro Camera mounted on the front bumper. This was his first time using it, and you can see how simple it was to set up and use.

PART 2 – Getting ready for Time Attack in Chicago

We went over the car to make sure everything was in tact and not just ready for the drive to Chicago and back, but also for several rigorous hot laps at the track.

We checked:

• All fluid levels (brake, power steering, coolant)
• Lines for leaks (brake, power steering, coolant, fuel)
• Tires (pressure, wear)
• Brakes (pads, rotors)
• Drivetrain (differential, gearbox, axles, boots)

All checked out fine except for the rear brakes which we replaced.
